My parents saw the signs of a passion for writing early on in my life. I still have the mementos of those early indications piled up in a corner of my bedroom, a towering testament to journal writers everywhere. As I came into high school, I found there was a place to use writing that would reach the entire school. Journalism has become a passion of mine, and now that I’m in my junior year, I feel ready to take on the challenge of being an editor-in-chief. Besides my strong pull to writing, I love researching. Writing historical feature stories is another one of my fortes. I hope to make the best of what I can do to make this year the best the roguenews.net has ever seen.
